Our Mission

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®) was founded in 2001, and our Chapter 11-4 was formed on 9 February 2012. Our mission, like that of ALL CVMA® chapters, is to support our fellow brothers and sisters-in-arms who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our motto is “Veterans Helping Veterans”.

Part of our support is helping veteran-care facilities provide food, shelter, and other assistance to veterans in need. We also welcome home active-duty personnel from tours overseas with a heartfelt “Thank you” and “Welcome home”, to show how much we appreciate their service and the sacrifices they made.

Additionally, we support the Patriot Guard Riders when they serve as funeral escort for our fallen servicemen, active duty or retired. It's an honor to commemorate the lives of those who stood up when our country needed them. Escorting them to their final resting place is an honor we take very solemnly.

If you are a combat veteran in the South Sound areas (Olympia, JBLM, Yelm, Tenino, Tacoma, Tumwater) who enjoy the motorcycle lifestyle and wants to join a band of brothers to help replace that feeling of brotherhood you had in the service, CVMA® WA 11-4 might be a good fit for you. Contact the Chapter Commander or the Secretary for more info.

CVMA® WA 11-4 is a tax-exempt Public Charity under IRS Code 501(c)(19). All Donations are tax deductible.
